I would like to take DME to the resort. Since we are doing a split stay, I would also like to rent a car. DH never really cares for the crowded buses at night. I welcome any advice or suggestions about the rental companies that are on Disney property? Will any of them pick me up at my resort? Any companies better than others? Thanks,

just for a couple of days during our stay. We used Hertz w/AAA discount and they picked us up at our resort and brought us back the day we dropped the car off. We were originally using Budget and they were going to do the same thing. I suggest calling directly to one of the offices near WDW are speaking to someone down there. But you shouldn't have a problem doing this.

We have been and will again in June use Dollar at their DTD hotel location . It's right across from the marketplace bus stop and using the KISS2 code we haven't found any better the past few trips.

Enterprise did pick-up and dropp off for our Oct trip as they had a great weekend rate.

Then you have Alamo at the CCC and Dolphin / National at the Dolphin.

Good luck we also like useing ME to get there and then get just a small car to drive us around in.

What is the location you put when you want to pick up at the resort.

For our May 8-15 trip I am picking up the rental car at MCO and will drive to our resort, POP. DD and DW will take DME to the resort. We truly only "need" the car for one day, but it would only cost $40 more to rent from MCO for the entire week than it would have been renting from the Dolphin or the ACC.

Was it cheaper to rent from the airport than one of the rental locations around Disney for the same amount of time?

You have to try both . We have had great luck at Dollar DTD hotel . But I have also (Last June ) it was cheaper by a lot from MCO . So we did 2 to the rental van and the rest went on ME with the bags coming in later.

If it's just a bit I will sill do the WDW locations and use ME sometimes you can get a smaller car (no luggage ) and for less days as well.
