Usually our WDW trips start out with going to the beach. This time however, we will be doing the beach last. Since we're going to WDW first, we're thinking that some people in our group will use Magical Express, and that way we won't have to worry about getting the luggage. One person will rent a van and drive to WDW. Since this person will be alone, what would the easiest route be to WDW? Is the easiest route also the quickest way?

I want to be able to give this person some simple directions.......from leaving the car rental area at MCO, all the way to WDW.

Thanks for your help!

I never worry about how to get there. I just ask the general direction as I am leaving the rental car lot. I get on one of those toll roads and find the signs. Most rental car agencies will give you a map. You can also get one from AAA before you leave.

I guess that's not too helpful, but the thing is - it is very easy to get there and there are two main toll roads that get you there.

Disney Grandma,

I find the easiest way to WDW from the Orlando airport is going out the south entrance and taking Route 417 West. There are signs that clearly mark where to exit for Disney depending on which resort you are staying. It is much less confusing and congested than I-4.

Good Luck!!

Kelly
