renting a car from MCO

I will be renting a car from MCO and going to Pop Century. I was planing on taking the SR 417. Do I need a Sun Pass or can I pay as I go with cash for tolls? Also will be driving to Sea World one day from the Pop. I am wondering because of this statement from car rental?

"There are toll roads within this area that have converted or will be converting to
all-electronic tolling or cashless tolling. In these areas there is no option for a rental car to stop and pay
the tolls in cash."

There are separate cash lanes on 417. Two tolls, each will be $1.50. Get off at exit 6 for WDW. Some map/gps systems might want you to go to exit 3 but that just adds to the tolls and doesn't save any time.

Going from Pop to Seaward doesn't require driving on a toll road. Its I-4 the whole way.

We just rented a car at MCO and I was laughing because they kept harping on paying the tolls. I think they must have people who frequently don't pay them. The drive was easy and there are plenty of signs for the cash only lanes as well as for each of the parks. Have a great time!

A tip that really helped me with the cash tolls was that you stay all the way to the right and it can feel like you are actually taking an exit in order to pay the toll. We had 10 one dollar bills and $10 in quarters that I had put in my carry on then moved to the glove box before leaving the garage, worked perfectly.

It wasn't an option they were providing, but it was literally a bunch of men telling the 2 women you need to pay the tolls...don't forget!
