renting a car from DTD? and parking at GC

we would like to rent a car from the DTD place ? ALamo on the last day of our trip as we are driving to Pasadena from DL...question is I would like to pick it up in the morning and then take it back over to Grand Californian to pack our stuff up in it ....can we then park it at the GC after we have checked out? is there a fee for that?

They will ask for your room key and check the computer for your status. I would get the car before checkout if possible. A lot will depend on how the CM interprets the rules.
