Renting a car at Poly?

Howdy! My best friend and I are going to be staying at the Poly next May for two weeks. We plan on using Disney transportation for most of the trip, but we need a rental car for one day of Outlet shopping and one day of non-Disney activities. I really don't want to rent a car at the airport - does the Poly have a rental car desk or is there one inside the World that I can use? I'm thinking that using a rental for these two days will be cheaper than using a cab but please correct me if I'm wrong! I'm trying hard to maximize savings for this trip, as I'm sure we all are!

Glad you got your answer. You can also rent from Dolphin location which is also national/alamo. Check your rates & dates.. sometimes for such a short rental you can get an extra day or two for as little as $5.

Numerous times we have rented from the Dolphin, however they are only open until 4pm. but they do offer valet pickup/drop off for no additional charge.
