Renter ? Would love thoughts, opinions

We have a guest house attached to our house. My grandmother lives in it until she passed so i could take care of her, etc so that is the reason it was built and it is attached to my house by a porch and walkway. We have rented it once before to a man who was working out of town and wanted more than a hotel room. It has one large room that is the bedroom/kitchen/living area. My grandmother was bedridden so it is what she wanted. We have it furnished now and my dd plays the Wii on the TV in it. It has a large closet and large bath with whirlpool tub.

So, question is I have a friend who is Mennonite (i add this for a reason) and she and her husband and 2 kids need somewhere to stay for a few months. I first said 50 a week but then i thought about how much it costs me to keep it going. They are people who stay up late, we go to bed early. They will come over and stay forever. I like my privacy, I love being alone while my dh and dd are outside. It has a TV in it complete with Dish network (they r not supposed to watch tv but they watch while at our house. I am terrified it will end up in their 4 year old in and out of my house all day and at night. My dd is 10 and has American Girl stuff that the 4 year old loves to pull out. Well if any of you have kids who collect American Girl you know the little pieces.

I feel really stuck and bad about this. I dont know what to do. Any thoughts?

If you haven't offered it to her, I wouldn't. It sounds like it would end your friendship.

If you have offered already, I would set down ground rules about when they were welcome in your home and when there are quiet hours. And $50 a week is dirt cheap. I would say $500 a month.
