I have read other posts regarding guests with reservations at the DLH in early June being moved to either PP or GC because one of the towers was closed. Since I have rented points for my stay at the DLH June 8-13 - I would like to call the hotel to check on my reservation. How soon should I be able to call them. I know at WDW it's about 1 week out. Just curious.

I think it is less than a week out for a renter to be able to contact a resort. Why don't you have the person you rented from contact them for you?

They are closing one of the towers? I was unable to get the 10th so I am going to GC and instead of going back to DLH we are going to PP for the last 2 days.

The rooms look cool. I think that we (the ones staying on points will not be asked to move) I think that they would give someone on cash the upgrade. I am ok with not moving becasue it will be our first time and now we will be abe to experiance all 3 Disney Hotels.

Personally for us, we wouldn't want to get movied either, since we are a family of 5 (two girls and a boy) there would be arguements as to who sleeps where, whereas just two normal connecting rooms where the girls can share a bed and the boy has his be works out better.

I also think they should have kept two double/queen beds and not made them twins.

This does have me worried that there are now FEWER normal connecting standard rooms for us to get... :worried:

when I first saw this I was picturing 3 rooms next to eachother. Then taking the middle room and deviding it half. Half would go to the right one and the left room would get the other half. So by making 2 extended rooms they only go rid of one standard room.
