Rented points - can I check availability

Long story short I'm renting points from an owner for Jersey week and am waitlisted for BLT for 3 of the nights (long shot I know). In the meantime, i'm booked at a 1 BR at SSR but would like to get out of there and into something for less points (studio or 1 BR at OKW).

Now that I have a reservation number, can I call and check availability without bothering the owner or do they still have to check? I know I wouldn't be able to change the reservations, but I'd like to be able to check availability periodically so I can get out of the SSR 1 BR.

Sorry, no. There is no way for a non-member to check availability. You'll just have to hope that your waitlist works. Good luck!

Not only can you not check availability but it rarely stays for very long when you are looking at a pretty much completely booked time so even if you were to check by the time you get hold of the owner and have them check again the single room you had seen would possibly be gone. If you move to a room that is less points has the renter agreed to give you back money- most of the time since points can be limited when canceled they won't do that anyway.
