Does anyone know of house rentals that include shuttle/bus service to WDW?

If not, advice on getting to the parks without renting a car? And CHEAP!

And... advice on best/favorite rentals? Need to sleep 5 and would like a private pool.

THANKS!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

Windsor Hills Resort has Shuttles to Disney for $10.00 roundtrip. And $14.00 round trip to Universal. They pick up in the front by the clubhouse I believe. We needed to get to MK for an early morning breakfast reservation and had a taxi (I think Maingate) that we called the night before and were picked up at 7:30 am.. Nice car and I do not remember it being that expensive. But again, it was one time. Most of the houses are beautiful in Windsor Hills. If you have no car and need the shuttle you should try to rent a house closer to the entrance (where shuttle is). Around the lake is good. And the houses have great private pools. Just look at www.windsorhillsrent.com.:thumbsup2

As far as I am aware, there are no pool home rentals that include a shuttle service. If they did you would be paying for the shuttle service as part of the rental fee which would up the cost of the rental house.

Several communities have the shuttle services of Maingate Transportation available to them including Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms and Emerald Island.

Here is some information on the shuttle service - it is the same for all the communities.

Personally, a car is best from any of the vacation rental communities. I know we go get groceries, go out to restaurants etc when we are there, so we appreciate the flexibility of a car. We also don't do the parks on the same schedule as the shuttle service, so it really wouldn't work for us at all. Maingate transportation offer taxi services, and so do many other taxi companies too. The cost of 5 of you using the shuttle may be the same as getting a taxi. Those options may be worth costing out. 5 shuttle tickets to WDW is $50 per day - a taxi may be cheaper - especially if you book it for several days in a row, the taxi company may give you a better rate.

If you want room for 5 and free bus service to Disney, I would choose Wyndham Bonnet Creek. They have several pools, 2 lazy rivers and a whirlpool tub in the master bedroom.
