We have always used a shuttle service from mco to our resort, this January we are planning a longer stay w/ a side trip to Sea World. It seems cheaper or at least a wash to rent a car and it would give us some flexibility but my DH is worried about getting lost and the ease of getting around. Any advice from those that have driven/rented a car? Is it difficult to navigate? Thanks!

We've always rented a car. I'm the navigator and DH is the driver....I shudder to think where we'd end up if he was the navigator!;)

No...it's really easy to get around...Go for it!

With the rental car prices now it may be cheaper to take a town car or shuttle service.

Let's hope the rental car prices go down!

I arrived in Orlando at midnight last time and had no clue where I was going, and still had absolutely no trouble getting around. The car was great for dining at the other resorts, and gave us the flexibility we wanted. I wasn't going to do a car this time, but with the great rate I got, it was almost a wash for me too vs. towncar and tips.

If an old gal from small town MN can get herself around Orlando in a rental car, you can too!

Get yourself a good Fl map with a Orlando inset from Barnes and Nobles, AAA.

Disney has very good signnage.
