Hello Fellow Lovers of WWD!

This question is for those that have rented vehicles in Orlando. We are going to be needing a rental vehicle at the end of our stay to go visiting relatives in northern Florida.

Any recommendation? Positive experiences? Gems? Unexpected wonderful surprises?

we rented from Thrifty. it was about 100 less. its offsite but there is a shuttle at the airport that takes you there and to the airport at the end of the trip.

L & M was a nice surprise for us. We had read bad things about them, but we used them several times and they have been great. They are onsite at the airport and are rather inexpensive. We always got nice, new cars, and although I've heard they sometimes ask for proof of insurance, they never asked for our. They were very low pressure about selling their insurance.

If you need a rental car at the end of your stay, I am assuming you stay on-site, therefore you may be better off to rent from CCC. From what I read, it means Alamo and National (not sure whether there are other companies), and they can pick you up from your resort.
