Hi there. My family is hoping to rent points for a WDW vacation next January. I contacted David’s DVC Rental Conpany because I have used them in the past with great success. Unfortunately, while Disney does have our desired room type available, the company itself does not have any members available to book the reservation for us at this time. I have been added to their queue in the hopes that something will come up, but in the meantime, should I put in a request with the other company- DVCRentalStore? I obviously don’t want to get stuck with two reservations, but I want the best chance of booking our desired vacation. Has anyone encountered this before? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Happens all the time. Given that once made the reservation is final, I would either withdraw my request at one broker, or hold steady.

It really depends on how many points you need and when you are going. Certain resorts need the 11 month bookin ability while others do not. If your reservation is around 200 points or under give it a a couple of weeks. Lots of people have the same problem, but they are usually filled sooner than later.

Ok thank you. I figured it might be unlikely that I would get reservations from both companies on the same day/same time, but I suppose it’s still a risk. That said, if I got one company to book, I could cancel the initial small deposit with the other conpany. No?
