Rental or service...

We are staying at universal for the first few days of our trip then heading to Disney! Trying to see if we should rent a car or use a service. Gotta get from Orlando airport to universal studios then universal to Disney then Disney back to Orlando. Will be 4 of us. Flight home is at 6 am so service needs to get us at 4 maybe. Not sure they start that early though. Is renting a car better?

Are you staying at a WDW resort while at Disney? If so, you could use DME to get back to MCO. If you book a car service, it's going to be about $100+ to go from MCO to US to WDW. While at US/IoA, if you are staying at one of their resorts, you'll have to pay a daily parking fee if you have a car.
I would figure out how much a car would cost to rent, add parking costs, as well as gas. Then compare it to the cost of a car service.
As far as how early they will pick you up, it doesn't matter. They run 24/7. It might cost a bit more to get a very early pickup but you can book it.

We are staying at grand Floridian in Disney & hard rock at universal. Guess I need to sit & figure out all the numbers. We don't use DME.
