Shawn and I have been on and off the computer the last two days trying to get some of the new Disney Auction P.I.N.S. pins to add to our collection. Well, yesterday my oldest daughter, who is 8, wanted to know what we were doing as I am sure it looks odd constantly hitting F5! So we told her. She wanted to try and since I had a Halloween costume to finish in the same room, I said sure and explained what she needed to do and teased her that any pins she bought without my approval came out of her allowance.
So here I am sewing the costume and my daughter is hitting the F5 key and was able to get two pins we wanted rather quickly. She kept trying and was getting a bit frustrated when she missed out on the attitude Tink pin and then started getting more and more determined to finally get that pin!
It was funny when you started thinking about it. All I could think about was the people in the park who 'rent' the kids to get more of an LE pin and here I was 'renting' my own daughter to get an auction pin!
Oh, and if you wondered, she finally was able to buy us the Tink we wanted and she was so happy when she showed me the confirmation screen and then she was off to play a game on the Lego site. There's one Tink that will stay in our collection.
