From your experience:

I am not talking about money here ... I want to know who is reliable and can get the job done the best.

Hmmm wondering how much this even matters. I got a Avis Preferred card from my work and the rates are 400 MORE than Alamo... arggg what is that about

My experience is that overall Hertz has the best service, but on any given day any of them can have a good or bad day.
For the worst service I would vote for Alamo. (Or would that be "NO service" LOL!)

But your killing me.... ALAMO's rates are lower, should I pay double for better service ? National is next in line for ok rate, but I do not have a CC,only a debit ... yikes, this stinks!

And whats with Hertz rates, the were crazy !!! WAY high ! arggg

Hertz is fantastic at MCO. The shuttles are always waiting. The lot is a short ride away. We used them all the time.

If you get a shuttle driver named Captain Jack you are in for a real treat.

When returning the car do curbside check in with the luggage then return the car.

If you belong to AAA they offer great rates. If you are a member of their #1 Clubs you can use a debit card for rentals.

OK I have had my first bad Hertz experience at MCO. If you get a driver named Joey whose second language is Tagalong... RUN!!!! Wait for the next bus.

He couldn't spell anything and had a horrid time putting the gold members into his little unit and then.... he drove. OH MY! I wanted to kiss the ground when we finally got there! (We were in no danger... the average speed was two miles an hour hard to be in danger! LOL!) He took so long getting our names that there were two other Hertz buses pulled up and the radio was screaming at him to get the show on the road. (I suspect he was messin up the whole system!)

The car was great however. I will still use them, I have had TONS of drivers and only one Joey so....

Peaceful Girl, do you have AAA I get good rates with that.

I vote National if you join the Emarald club. I will never wait in line at a rental car counter again. I've used Thrifty and Alamo previously in Orlando, with bad experiences. I haven't tried Hertz.

I vote National if you join the Emarald club

I have it through my job, but I do not have a CC, only debits and they dont take them :( .... maybe I should get added to hubbys card ... although I do not want to ... hmmm

National. Hands down. You can pick the car of your choice from the EA, zip out with your contract in hand and return painlessly.

National -

Not even a contest. No wait and the best rate I could find.
