Rental Communities between Universal & Busch Garden?

We are thinking of skipping Disney on our next trip and concentrating on Universal and Busch Gardens. We usually stayed in Emerald Island when we were doing Disney/Universal, but I'm wondering if there are better options if we plan to just go to Universal & BG.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Considering you are talking about a Universal park and a park located in Tampa, You aren't likely to find many options that are "convenient" to both locations. The travel time between the 2 parks is 1hr 20min (according to Google Maps), so you are looking at approx a 45min trip to either park if you found someplace in the middle.... or at least 1hr drive if you decide to pick someplace closer to one park vs the other.

I'd honestly say your best bet would be someplace convenient to I-4 so that you can easily get to either park and don't waste a ton of time on the surface streets.
