rental commuity with no parties

Last time we got a rental at Reunion resort the people next to us partied for 2 nights straight all through the night and played super loud music. We were even a little scared because there was alot of yelling. We def dont want to be in that situation again, none of us could sleep. I have been looking up other resorts and places like Solterra and windsor at Westside are saying same things in comments about these parties. I dont know how the management company can stop this from happeneing but maybe there are some places that are more strict. Anyone know? It stinks we really wanted resort with lazy river, too bad these nice communities are having these problems.

I don't know about Osceola County where Reunion is located but next door in Polk County the Sheriff's office will respond promptly to loud parties, especially if you were to report you were frightened by the tone of the gathering. A deputy from the Polk County Sheriff's office stopped by one of our HOA meetings and made it very clear that they were there to help. He said that unless they are busy with a large emergency they will respond promptly. I have not had to call about a loud party but they did respond promptly to a call about a suspicious vehicle that parked in front of our house.

We stay in Windsor Hills a lot. They have 24 hour security. We did have to call them once when a bunch of 20 somethings were in the parking lot making a lot of noise at about 2AM in the morning. They did come and it stopped. This was the only time we had an issue and they were quick to resolve it.

I loved Reunion when I stayed there with my Worldmark points. You might find jerks anywhere. I have seen some amazingly loud parties and horrible fights and yelling even at some fine hotels. The type of things where security gets invovled and the police are called and people are kicked off property. So it can happen anywhere. All you can do is contact the front desk, call security, and even complain to the police, if necessary.
