Rental cars

Does anyone know if there is a rental car service on property? If not, what would be the closest? I'm trying to figure out if renting a car and driving to Universal, then returning it would be our best bet, saving on resort parking fees. We're at HRH for 5 nites, then would need the rental to get home again. Thanks!

There is Hertz onsite at the three hotels, but found them expensive
Barb [Bubbas Mum] could give you details on offsite returns, as i know they leave their car back when they stay, its offsite buts its only a few minutes walk

At the DoubleTree behind the PBH, there is an Avis.

We use Budget [code is M04] (cuz usually cheaper) and return it to the Holiday Inn across the street from DoubleTree...also behind the PBH (about a 10 min walk back to PBH..if that).

DoubleTree & Holiday Inn are across street from each other on the corners...which is then across the hwy from PBH (there ARE crosswalks).

Like Robert said, Hertz is onsite, but usually more expensive.

We've also taken a Mears Taxi from PBH to the airport...with tip it ran about $50-60.
