Rental cars--St. John

a couple of weeks ago. Here is my take on this. We rented a car on both St. Martin and ST. Thomas. I did the rentals on line through budget. Very easy..very neat. Each was about $50..St. John was a little more @ $60. The cars were not what you would expect in the US. They were fine cars, BUT the condition of the cars..I mean cosmetically..was atrocious. They give you the waiver to sign saying there is no damage...and then they give you the small diagram so that you can mark damages ..you will be surprised. In St. John..our car had dents/dings/bangs all over it! Driving was easy... you can only go so far on the islands... I would recommend St. Martin..the views are astounding...however..in the future I will not even get off the ship in Thomas. There was absolutely NOTHING there...we were just not impressed. Don't forget, driving is on the left side in St John! Have fun!

We have already re booked for our 4th cruise..it willbe Nov 8 and we will be going western. Going to get my countdown for it now!..lol
