I am going to try Priceline for a rental in CA at the end of the month. I have a conference in San Diego then heading to the GCV for a long weekend. Since I will be dropping off at Long Beach airport the rates are ridiculous. I've read posts where Priceline will rent for half price a couple of weeks out.
