Hertz is at all 3 hotels. :thumbsup2

Where is hertz located at hrh?As many times as we have stayed there I have never paid any attention!:happytv: Is Hertz the only rental car company located there??Thanks!!:cool1:

there is none at HRH though its listed on their website - apparently you must take a cab to PBH and they reimburse - just as easy to walk across the street.
Parking at HRH is bad enough for guests imagine adding rental cars

I tried to quote a price to pick up at MCO and drop off at HRH (same day so we don't have to pay for parking or private sedan service) and it said you cannot drop off at this location.
I guess we'll just keep the car in case it rains we might go find something to do.

:thumbsup2 Finally have myself organized...will drop off car at portifino(yes, you can pull that up on the hertz site)no drop off at hrh,and family will take tiffany car service back to airport all together. The van will hold up to 10.Thanks for everyones help!:thumbsup2

Although you have it all figured out- I found Hertz really expensive and am getting a car when we land in ft.myers-staying a few days, driving up to orlando and dropping the car at (Avis) a drop off point very near universal and they will provide a ride to the hotel and pick us up when we will rent a car 4 days later to go back to ft. myers. It was over a $400 difference for the same car, same scenario just using a different company. Having it at the hotel is very convenient but for that kind of money just not worth it. Good luck!

Glencoe, I am noticing the same thing... Hertz is almost 2x as much as Avis. We are driving 1-Way from Fort Lauderdale. Can you tell me where you are dropping the Avis car off in Orlando and how you arranged for transportation (i assume to either the HRH/PBH/or RPR)? Thanks.

Have you tried the Costco codes? We always rent from Hertz and between the codes on the Costco website and the coupon book at their stores, our rentals are always cheaper or at least even with Avis and National.

In fact, in November, we rented a Yukon XL. It was $100.00 cheaper than AVIS using every possible combination of codes from mousesavers.com and $300.00 cheaper than the comparable 8 passenger extended length vehicle from both National and Budget (Suburban).

We are not Costco members, and I'm guessing you have to be a member (we don't have any Costcos around here)? We have AAA and we are allowed to use our company codes for Hertz and Avis, and so far I am coming up with Avis by a mile. I think it's because we are only doing a one-day, one-way rental?

:confused3 Guess I will have to do more checking!!I did think that hertz was a bit expensive,we do have AAA and entertainment book and costco membership. So maybe I need to do more research! We don't have to do a drop off at portifino...is it really expensive to get a ride from avis??Thanks for giving me that headup!!:cool1:

We dropped our Budget rental car off at the Holiday Inn right across the street from Universal. It's an easy walk to HRH. Budget is on-site at MCO, too, and considerably cheaper than Hertz. We had a good Costco rate with Budget. Good luck!
