We are looking at booking a 3 day cruise on our trip in september.

The disney Transfers are $60pp wo for 6 people we are looking at $360.

Is it cheaper to rent a car to drive to the port, park and then drive back?

We have never rented a car out there so i dont know how you would arrange it? and the insurances etc?

Also is there a charge for parking at the port?

That's what we did when we did the 4 day cruise, although we hired the car for the duration of our stay, not just for that part of it. Parking is $12 per day. You could probably rent a car which would accommodate all of you for around $100 for 4 days including insurances and fuel. You can get an online quote from www.usrentacar.co.uk.

We are going to book a town car for our cruise transfers, works out approx $250 return. We are then going to pick up the hire car the day we come back from the cruise for the last week it cost £150 for a 7 seater!
