We are 4 adults flying into MCO for a 4 night visit in mid October. We are staying at AKL. We will visit all 4 theme parks and Disney Springs. Arrival night having dinner at Topolino. Day 2 HS. Day 3 AK in the morning then to MK for MNSSHP. Day 4 EP and DS in the morning on departure day. Currently have a rental car booked and was planning on using that throughout our trip. But I've heard good things about the Minnie vans. Also considering a hybrid of using both; perhaps MV just for MNSSHP so as to get dropped off at the MK entrance. I'd like to hear experiences with MVs and other thoughts on this.

We haven’t used the Minnie vans yet but plan to on our upcoming trip. For us, the main draw is that they include car seat/booster and we will have kids that need that. I’ve been looking up prices to plan and when I plug it in to the app right now a Minnie can from poly to blizzard beach is $43 one way while an XL is $12.50 and a black SUV is $31. Other times I’ve looked the Minnie van has been more like $50 plus. So testing it out in the app might be useful to your planning from a cost perspective! I don’t know whether there are other benefits beyond the car seat/boosters but I’m sure others will have an idea. Are you staying offsite which is why you’re thinking about other transport or just trying to avoid the buses? Wishing you a great trip!!

What app? Lyft? I do appreciate the idea of looking at pricing. Seems high. As I said in my post, we are staying at AKL.

What is your budget? MVs are very nice but they add up quick and are hard to get at busy times like after nighttime shows. One thing to note is they don't surge price, MVs are based on distance alone. Although, Disney does up the cost periodically.

Price isn't a huge concern but my rental car through Costco is only $246 so I'm guessing MV will be more than that in total. I don't like waiting around. My main concern is convenience.

Yes the Minnie Vans (MV) use the Lyft platform. As @gottalovepluto indicate there is no surge pricing but they are not always available without a wait.

The plus of MV is that they can go anywhere on property so they are able to drop / pickup your party very close to most locations.

Kind of wasteful but I often rent a car to get to/from MCO but end up using Minnie Vans or ride share around property. I like having a car if I do need it but I also like the convenience of ride share or Minnie Vans around property.

I guess the question for me is why a Minnie van rather than a regular Lyft, Lyft XL, or even a black SUV which is probably quite nice and still cheaper? I’d think they are just as convenient (and maybe more so since less of a wait).

What makes MV more convenient for you?
