Rental Car Question

We are going to Disney in December and are taking the Magical express service to our hotel at Boardwalk and staying for 8 days. Is it possible to rent a car for 4 days in the middle of our trip? If so, how would we do it? Any help appreciated.

Sure - the easiest way would be to make a reservation for a car from Alamo or National. Use either the Car Care Center (near the MK) or the Dolphin Resort (near EPCOT) for the pick up/drop off location.

Alamo/National even has a complimentary shuttle that will pick you up at your WDW resort to pick up the car at which ever you 've made the reservation. The shuttle will take you back to your resort after you return the car. Check the hours - neither location is open 24 hours, though and the shuttle only runs while the rental desks are open.
