Rental car question

We are looking into renting a car from the airport when we land so that we can stop and get some groceries, and make it to an ADR that same night and then the following day using it to go to two different theme parks.

So my question is.. if we rent a car from the airport, can we drop it off at one of the rental spots located on the disney property? Does anyone know?

Yes, when you put the dates in the search engine when you're booking your rental car online it gives you the option of where you want to pick up AND where you want to drop it off. The on property rentals are fairly limited (only 2 or 3 I think) so don't forget about the ones near Downtown Disney. But be aware that it might affect the price. It also depends on the day(s) you're renting....I constantly get email offers to rent for a weekend for $29!

You can rent through Alamo/National at MCO and then drop off at either the Dolphin or the Car Care Center that is close to the MK entrance.
There are various car rental counters at different DTD resorts as well. Budget is located at the Doubletree for instance. And some of them offer shuttle service back to your resort.

You can onsite at Alamo/National and offsite on Hotel Plaza Blvd right next to Downtown Disney. Anything car rental pickup/drop off onsite is crazy expensive-like double the price.

Just playing at the Alamo site with pick up at MCO and drop off at Disney Car Care Center was $100 a little more or a littles less for 24 hour rental. Drop off at the Dolphin was quite a bit more expensive.
