Rental Car Pickup - Dolphin or Car Care Center?

We are staying at the Port Orleans-Riverside in March. At the end of our stay, we will need to pick up a rental car to drive to southern Florida.

Alamo has rental locations at the Disney Dolphin and the Car Care Center. Using Disney transportation, which location is easier and quicker to get to from Riverside?

It's an easy walk or boat ride from either Epcot or MGM. That desk closes at 4pm though.

I've heard that the CCC has a shuttle that will pick you up at your resort. Their hours are a little later.

We were debating the same thing on our trip and I called both locations. The Dolphin Alamo claims it dosen't provide a shuttle to the Hotels but the CCC Alamo says they do. Plus there open later!!

I am trying to rent a car from Alamo at the end of our trip, and drive to DH grandparents. What is the exact area for the CCC, because it is not listed on the Alamo "pick-up" section.

The CCC is on the exit road from the MK parking lot, roughly across the street from the MK parking toll booths.

If you are going to be relying on Disney transportation, the Dolphin is your better option. If you don't mind calling and waiting for the Alamo/National shuttle to pick you up, then CCC is fine.

Does the Dolphin have the cars on site r do you have to take a shuttle elsewhere?

The cars at the Dolphin are right there. You take your rental papers and keys out front and the valet will bring your Alamo/National car to you.

it's soooo easy to rent a car on wdw property... just call the ccc and tell them you'd like to rent a car and they send a van (sometimes as quickly as ten minutes!) to get you at your resort and take you to the ccc to get your car... dh was there and back in less than a half hour last time!
