Rental Car Parking Price Questions

I am paying 130 plus tip from FL Tours for a van from MCO to ASMo. I really wanted a cheaper town car, but they said I had to have a van since I asked for a car seat. Anyway, that's $150 It sems I can rent a car from somewhere for about that. Four of us total DH, me, DD 6 and DD 10 months. We are staying onsite as I said. My questions are - how do I get the best rate on a car - 4/1 - 4/8 - yes, it's soon! I can't find the parking costs for any of the parks, DTD or TL or BB. We will use the park busses most of the time I think, but can someone tell me parking rates if we decide not to use the busses. Do you pay to park if you are a resort guest? Thanks!

If you're staying on site then parking is free for the parks. You'll get a card you put in your dashboard.

As for getting a rental vs. a van shuttle, get the rental. We did for our last trip for the first time, and it was terrific. Especially with your kids' ages. Mine were always sleeping at the end of the day, so carrying a sleeping child, plus all the packages, and the stroller was a real pain in the butt. Plus you can go to the grocery store for snacks and things, and get your soveneirs at one of those cheapy sovenier places. And you could eat off site if you wanted. Going to DTD on the buses is also a pain, much better to take a car.

For good rates on rentals, check out allearsnet.com for codes, check the individual car rentals sites for deals. And keeping checking, prices can change hourly. If you find a good rate, go ahead and reserve it, but keep shopping around. You're not asked for a credit card to reserve, so if you find a better price you may cancel anytime.

First things first - if you are staying at a Disney resort, you pay no parking fees anywhere on Disney Property.

Second, I am looking at National's page and I can get a rate of $109 (pick up and drop off at 12 noon on your dates) for a full size. This is using contact ID 6600330 (Priceless Vacations) and the Coupon Code from Mousesavers (10009123). You must bring that coupon for the rate.

For others staying off site it is $8 a day for parking. Save the receipt and you can park hop and not pay parking again.

You will be fine with the printed coupon. They never ask for the card.
