Rental car insurance

Does anyone here use rental car optional insurance? Our car insurance through State Farm will cover the rental. I was just curious if anyone actually did use the insurance. I know a number of credit card companies will cover the insurance for free but ours isn't one of those. Just checking.

I never purchase any of the insurance offered by rental car companies. It is grossly overpriced for the coverage offered. If you have adequate personal car insurance, you should be OK. Having a credit card that provides additional coverage is even better. But purchasing the rental company's insurance is, JMO, a waste of money.
