Rental car experts...can you help me out??

I have tried every code and company, but I am not finding anything cheaper than the reservation I made almost a year ago. I need a minivan (6 big adults). Our dates are Jan. 4(pickup at 11:30 AM) to Jan. 15 (drop off at 5:00 PM) at MCO. I now have National at $477.00, and with Emerald Club, it includes the second driver (must have 2 drivers). Can anyone show me any of your tricks to do better than that, or should I just be happy with what I have? Thank you!

For the vehicle class and the length of your rental (12 rental days), I'd say you have a great rate.

Also try each company while specifying no code. Someone here on The DIS posted that idea.

You can get a spread of everyday low prices for a selection of companies (as opposed to special sales) by going on Travelocity dot com.

You might see if one particular day of the week (Tuesday?) tends to serve up lower prices, although it may be a different day for each company.

Yeah, you are right. I should be happy, especially after seeing the rates now. But, I got that rates so long ago, without any codes or coupons. I just thought MAYBE there is something out there! I better start packing!
