Since we have credit card points that were about to expire I used them to buy 4 tickets to San Francisco. I've been wanting to take the kids there for quite awhile and the free tickets made it possible. We've booked three nights in a hotel in SF and one night in Stinson Beach. I still need to book a rental car for two days. I've been looking for deals and have come up short. Even Costco wasn't much cheaper than what I found on my own. Any suggestions? This trip is already pretty expensive and I'd like to save where I can.

I just used Budget offer code R524190 for a reservation and it saved a ton....it was also combinable with the $20 off weekly rate Budget had on the website!

Does this code have any 'associations' with it? Like, do you need to be a AAA member or Costco or anything like that. It is a great rate (I've just started looking) but I don't want to get there and be asked for some proof of membership or something.

No "associations" with it. Don't forget to look on Budget's page for any additional coupons, as I was able to combine the $20 off a weekly rental with the code above.

So glad it will work for you! We rented a 12 passenger van with the code and it was $400 cheaper than anything else I could find!! I made sure I wrote it down so I could use it next time I need a rental.
