Rental car companies actually IN terminal?

I ALWAYS forget which rental car places have their rental desks right on site. By that I mean on the lower level of the terminal, right across from the garage. I do not want to have to take a shuttle to get to the desk. Are the 3 that are there: DOLLAR, BUDGET, and NATIONAL? Like I said, I have to ask this every year! Thanks for any help! Kathy

I know L&M and Alamo are in terminal for sure too (used them both). You can go to Orbitz.com and search for cars. They have a great chart listing all companies and if they are in terminal or off site. have fun

Avis was there. Hertz was not.

The 3 you mentioned are in terminal (National, Budget, Dollar) plus Alamo, Avis, L & M.

My best advice to you is to visit the Transportation Board and Mousesavers. I was able to join the National Emerald Club for free, using a code that I got either here or on mousesavers. National lets you use more than one rate code, so I was able to get my rental car for over $100 less than the "good" rate I had at Avis. But the COOL thing is that as an Emerald Club member you go to the parking garage, pick out your car and drive off. It took less than 5 minutes. Same thing on return-less than 5 minutes.

For years there were only 4 and they are easy to remember:

B-A-N-D: Budget, Avis, National and Dollar.

Since then Alamo and National merged so Alamo is in the terminal. Don't know when or how L&M got in there.

Agreeing with missypie. The Emerald Aisle service at MCO is very efficient, and so is the return.

You can always go to the MCO (Orlando) website to find the most update information. I always check before we fly in.

We used Thrifty last time and they were great. They are not on site though, but a tram will take you off site that is about 15 min away.
