We will be going to WDW June 3-16th!! I either need a mini van or a full-size car. Would you please help me find something that won't break the bank? If anybody can, I KNOW it will be you great people on here, I have faith in you!
Thanks so much! :cutie:

I found a full-size through budget for $375 June 3-16 pick up and drop of MCO

Can that be beat?

As you get closer likely to find better deals. The rate on Hotwire is $24 a day those weeks for an Impala, but this week it is $14 a day.
Register to get the mails. you can always cancel per their agreements,. when you can find something less. The one week rentals often are less, or the 10 day. So many days is the $$$$. IS there any way to go with weekend rental from Enterprize? We went a THursday pick up, drop on Monday for the weekend rate and they picked us up from the hotel. For a Sentra at that time, in Oct it was $55. total.50% off for weekends they start Thurs.

What are your "pick up" and "drop off" times?

Go to Mousesavers and they have tons of discount codes. With most companies you can also stack coupons with a discount. You can find coupons at BJs website, I think Sams Club has them and also the Entertainment Book if you know anyone who has one.

Go to the transportation board on this website. Put your dates and you will get better rates from the posters over there. They are pros at getting steals and deals using codes. One tip I have to to taxi from MCO to West Landstreet location of Budget. Drop-off back at MCO is free. It is a $25 cab ride, and you can sometimes get a $100+ discount on teh Budget rate at MCO property.

last time we were given the option of one for free through southwest. I think we had to pay the tax on it and that was all, make sure the tank was filled. I forget what they gave us but it seated 5.

I reserved the best rental car rate on a minivan I could find-that was able to be canceled.. Then as my date got closer, I started making priceline bids. Ended up with a minivan for $200 for the week, including tax. I wouldn't expect to find that rate for June but the strategy should work.

Totally agree with this strategy. The best rates tend to be released no earlier than 14 days before your scheduled trip, and more likely in the 7-10 day ahead timeframe. I've always gotten excellent deals (well under $200 for a full size car) using this strategy.

Full size, for whatever reason, tend to be cheaper on Priceline than smaller cars. Go figure.
