Rent a car or use Uber/Lyft?

This will be DH & my first trip w/o kids and if we can get by w/o renting a car for the week, it would be fun to try! The only times we absolutely need transportation offsite are to go to Mass (at the Shrine nearby, preferably). We've never used Uber or Lyft so we're unsure how that works...can we schedule a pick-up in advance (both directions)? We'll be staying onsite. Or would you recommend just renting a car for the week for ease...

No, you will need to use the app to call for a ride with either service as they are "On Demand" services. The ability to schedule a ride in advance is not a feature of either service.

That being said, with the app you can see where the drivers are and that will get you an idea on how long your wait will be.
