Renewing Wedding Vows

I know this question is a long shot however, my wife and I are on the DCL West Coast Magic cruise departing San Pedro on Saturday July 23 for celebration of our 10th anniversary (this is a weekend after spending two full days celebrating Disneyland's 50th Anniversary!)

We have heard that the "right" coasters get to renew their vows when they take 7 day cruises to Castaway Cay however DCL has stated they are not doing it on the west coast cruises.

The whole purpose of this cruise is to celebrate our 10 years together. Any ideas of how to con...I mean talk the captain of the vessel to allow us a quick 5-minute ceremony on the bridge?

What is 'Right' coasters? We want to renew our vows in July/Aug of 2007 on a 7 day cruise.

"Right coasters" are those who live on the Eastern seaboard. Florida to be exact!

When they DO allow vow renewals, they do them in Sessions, not on the Bridge, so I doubt if they would ever do that.....
I doubt you could "con" the Captain into it....try bribery!

Seriously, though....I talked to FairyTale Weddings a LOOOONG time ago about doing this on a Mexican Riviera cruise, and they said "Absolutely no way"...
