Renewing Wedding vows

Where can we renew our vows at WDW? How do I go about seting it up? I want to surpise my wife. also can I have flowers sent to our resort so they are there we wn get there?

I asked DH if he wanted to do this and his answer was..... why would I want to marry you again. So I dropped it.

However, I thought I had seen that this ceremony was discontinued, but like I said I dropped looking into it.

I think you can still do it by going thru Disney Weddings. Just be prepared-it's very pricey! We considered a vow renewal at WDW for our 25th Anniversary, but decided there's lots of other ways we can celebrate for that kind of money!

I would love to hear about this too, DH and I will celebrate our 20th in December. We have talked abour renewing our vows at Disney for a long time. I am thinking we will probably do it for our 25th.

There used to be a small vow renewal ceremony at the Garden Grill but I believe that was discontinued. If you wanted to have a more formal ceremony you should head over to the Weddings board here on the DIS and someone will be able to give you tons of information!

I forgot to answer about flowers. Contact Disney Florists and they will deliver a beautiful arrangement. They are probably pretty pricey though...maybe someone else will have another suggestion.

You can still do this at WDW. Check out www.disneyweddings.com for basic information and then call them to get started.

I helped my brother-in-law plan a surprise vow renewal last Summer for he and my sister (read that as he wrote the checks, I did the planning). It was a little pricey, but I can tell you after all was said and done they both agreed it was well worth every penny. The Fairy Tale wedding planners are great people and made everything exceptionally magical.

I say go for it!

Check out the wedding board here on the DIS. The ladies there are so helpful. I planned my wedding last year and I got so much info on that board. Many people are there planning renewals.

From what I know you can spend as little as $2500ish for up to 18 guests or as much as you have in the bank! You dream it and Disney makes it happen!

I can confirm that. $2500 is the minimum for a vow renewal ceremony, and that does not include the officiant.

1) This was SOOOOO cute.
2) The characters would attend and the waiter would officiate.
3) You even got a certificate and applause from the other diners.
4) It was discontunued in 2004.
