renewing SoCal passports

I just went to the Disneyland website to check on the SoCal tickets and they're still showing as not available at this time. Our passes expire at the end of December. Curious to know if anybody has successfully renewed their SoCal tickets since the announcement was made about the price increase and the suspension of new sales of the SoCal passes. If you did renew, did you receive a discount and if so, how much? Also, are you still receiving a discount with merchandise purchases at the park?

You can still renew. I think the discount is $20. My friend just did it, I forget how much exactly. All of the merchandise discounts are still valid.

I renewed my SoCal pass, everything is still the same in terms of park merc hdiscounts

I heard from some friends that they didn't get a renewal reminder like they've always received in the past. They had to remember and get online and renew. It seemed to them, Disney wasn't encouraging them to renew
