Renewing our AP with DVC discount

Our AP will expire during our trip. Can we renew BEFORE we leave, or do we have to stop by the Guest Services to renew. Also, do we just have to show our DVC card at the window to get our discount or will they automatically give it to us as it was originally bought with a DVC discount?

You can renew by calling MS, on the passholder website: disneyworld.com/passholder, or at any Guest Services or Theme Park Ticket window. If you renew before you leave, you will still have to go to Guest Services to get your actual AP. Regardless of the way you renew, you will have to show your DVC membership card and photo ids for all adults (ages 18+) to get your discounted APs.
