Renewing DVC AP

We weren't going to renew, our AP's expire Aug. 19th, but now that we're going to AKV in September, we decided that we will. Can we do that in September, or do we have to renew when we're at WDW next week? Is there a procedure to follow?

Thanks..last year we were back in August on the same date. I forgot what I did.

IIRC, the renewal window is about 30 days from the expiration date. Call MS to see if your September arrival is within that window (and if it's still the AP policy).
