Renewing APs

I understand that DLRP will write to AP holders just before their APs expire. Does anyone know how long beforehand?

Our APs expire 20th October, but we do not go until 27th October. I would like to get our renewal done before we go.

When I booked our hotel (did I mention it was the DLH? ) the woman on the phone was a bit concerned abour giving me AP discount when my pass will have expired. She said several times that I MUST have renewed before I check in or I will be charged the higher rate.

I think you could phone them now, and ask about it.

I didn't get a renewal letter, but my DD did - just at the weekend there. Hers offered her 6 months free if she renews. Her pass expires 2nd Oct, we don't go until 6th. I don't have time to get temporary renewals etc done before we go, so I'm just going to sort it out when I get there. I also want to downgrade her pass to a Fantasy, so I don't know if the 6 months free will be valid for her anyway, but I'll take the letter with me and ask.

The letter my DD has says its for Annual Pass holders, who's passes expire between 1st and 31st October 2008. It does also say the 2 ways of renewing are by post, or at the AP office in the park.
