Renewing AP early

I didn't call MS yet. Now finding out we will be there a week after Guardians opens, I guess I will go ahead and renew so I can lock in my Epcot days, just in case.

I'm really hoping that the Guardians does open Memorial Day Weekend, that would be awesome!

Thank you, A ten day hopper is a bit more. I won't buy anything until after our April trip. Our AP expires a few days after we get home. See how that trip goes.
If you decide that renewing is right for you before your trip ends, you can renew at any park ticket window or guest relations location at WDW.

Isn't there a window after an AP expires when you can still renew? I'd like to come home and take the time to discuss with DH how he felt the trip went. I want him to try to make the trip but I'm not going to drag him to make the trip......sometimes a very fine line.

Up to 30 days after expiration.

30 days after expiration to renew. But if the December trip is a definite and you know the 10 day ticket is a bit more, I am curious why you won’t renew anyway?

The Decemeber trip isn't definite. We have DVC rooms. Our use year is Dec, so easier to cancel. My worry is I renew, pay $800 clock starts ticking, come Sept. it becomes apparent we won't be going. This afib stuff came out of the blue, now the shocking is holding but starting to deal with side effects of the meds which are holding the heart in check.

Thar makes sense! Definitely not something to do if the trip is not a definite! The good news is that you have time to digest it all when you get home!!

Best wishes for health stability and improvement, as well as an enjoyable December trip.

You can only renew 60 days or less from expiration, so you are a few days early.

But call MS and they may let you anyway.
They did for us in the past, but not this year when I called.
Maybe others will have better luck.

They were doing it up until last August and stopped just before I tried! I think I missed it by a week.

I’d like to hijack this thread! Our APs (currently gold APs or sorcerer level) expire 10/2022 but we have a 12/2022 trip booked. I can’t make park ressies at this point due to the expiration date. If I call, is it possible they’d let me renew early so I can start planning??

Who knows if renewals will even exist by then. The calendars only go to feb 2023. That’s not an accident.

I don’t think they ever post the calendars for AP dates more than a year in advance. So, not sure that is unusual.

Sure, but I’m saying they might stop doing renewals at all. I would find that in line with what Chapek said and wouldn’t be surprised at all. It’s why I’m having trouble planning as well, with APs expiring October 2022.

Possible but I was referring to your post that said the calendar was only a year out as if that is an indication of something when it’s always been like that.

I renewed my AP and it’s good until March 2023 so there is that. I know people have just renewed passes that go all the way until April 2023.
