I am looking for a very romantic rest in Disney. I am planning on re-proposing to my wife to get re-married for our 15th anniversary and trying to come up with a nice proposal. I was planning on having dinner and then doing something fun or special for the proposal. What are your opinions or ideas?

Is there a part of the "world" that she loves? Like for me it is the castle.....does she have any faves? (rides, locations, sentimental spots...etc?)

She loves everything Disney. I would like to do something very surprising and maybe public and a little embarrassing. Something she will never forget. Her favorite character is POOH. I was wondering if I could some how get POOH involved in the proposel. Her fav. ride is "It's a small world".

I believe there is a part of Disney that helps with these specific ideas. Maybe you could have dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table, then head out for Wishes, arrange that Pooh comes up to you during wishes, maybe carrying a honey pot, snap a pic with Pooh and the two of you. Have the ring in the honey pot, (obviously no real honey here!), Say something adorable, like "I have enjoyed this journey for the past fifteen years, but we are only part way through the hundred acre wood, will you continue this journey with me"......etc. Then make sure there is a photographer there to catch the expressions and all. Just an idea......if you contact Disney Fairytale Weddings they can probably direct you to someone that can help you arrange this. www.disneyweddings.com

She will LOVE it regardless of the specifics!! Congratulations on all your happiness and good luck!! Keep that magic going! :thumbsup2

I think that Pooh is only allowed to appear at two locations in Disneyworld. One is at the England shop in front of the English garden and one other location that escape me at the moment. I think it is due to contract/licensing requirements.

BUT what you (jncvh) could do is go to the shop in England and talk to the Disney people handling Pooh and tell them that you would like to have Pooh assist in your proposal. Since there is normally a photographer there already, it would be easy for them to arrange something... This way you may even get Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet and Pooh... basically the whole gang to help you.

Just an idea... :)

Thank you for your help. I am going to try to go through Disney Weddings as I plan on having the renewal at Disney. I like the idea of meeting up with POOH and working something out with the honey pot. Know only the courage to be able to do it in public. :goodvibes

Doing it in public, may seem hard, but once you get that surge of excitement and see her expression, you will be the only two people in the "world"! :thumbsup2 Good Luck!! I am so happy for you!! :cheer2:

Pooh and friends are also at the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. You might be able to arrange something with them during breakfast or dinner??

Pooh and Friends can also be found in front of his ride in the MK, near the teacups! By the way, just in case you were thinking about putting Pooh onto a cake, you can't. :( Because of licensing, you cannot have a cake decorated with Pooh or with characters from Pixar.
