Renewal on a blockout day

I know this has been answered but after doing a search I am only finding threads from 2015.

My family has Deluxe APs and they expire Jan 8, 2018. The last day they are valid during the holidays is Dec 15th. I know we can renew up to 40 days before the expiration date. If we renew Dec 16 in person, will they be able to get into the parks?
