I know this is very early to be considering remewing my annual pass that I only bought in October but can they be renewed by post? Or am I going to 'have' to go to DLRP to renew my pass??

They can easily be renewed or extended by sponsorship through the post Cap'n.

You send all the relevant paperwork off no more than one month before your AP expires, and it will come back to you either renewed or extended through the post, usually within 2 or 3 weeks.

Thank you very much :worship: although I might tell the wife that we have to do them in person instead :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hi Capn Jack

Quick question you may be able to answer. I think from reading your posts you bought your AP's about the same time as we did. Have you heard anything from Disney? We bought ours over a month ago now and was expecting some sort of welcome or something:confused3 Do you know how often we should get the envie magazine? How else do we find out about discounts? (OOOPs thats a lot of questions!!!)

It seems very hit and miss whether you ever receive anything in the post. We've had a couple of APs over the years and we never seemed to get anything. I wrote once complaining that I never received the Envie de+ magazine which they sent a couple of times then I never received anymore. I've never even received the offer to extend for 12 months for the price of 6 that others have. :confused3

I use this link here to read the Envie de+. You'll be able to read about any discounts offered on there.

Hi,

No haven't heard anything from them at all. I was given a sort of welcome pack when we got them in October and a copy the the current Envie Magazine and she said that we would recieve them through the post although she gave us the web link for the online one.

I believe the next one is coming out in January 2009

Thanks we got the welcome pack but didn't get the envie magazine:confused3 Just need to keep checking it online. Hope my french can cope with the translation!

Even if you do get sent the Envie magazine through the post, it is in French :) .

how much is the annual pass?

i think it's unfair the way people who live in france can get an annual pass for only €29 and the price of their ticket for that day. no wonder the parks are always crowded! we were there on monday and it was packed! over 60 mins wait for everything! even star tours was 75 mins!

We got sponsored to get our dream passes so worked out at 161 euros each. To get the free child under 7 offer I had to pay full price (179 euros) for one of the adult passes when I got my credit card bill this worked out at just over £400 for 3 passes with 1 child free (4 passes in total)

We only bought ours a day and a half before we came home because we had a package deal. Even just in that short time we saved loads. Left all the shopping until we got our passes (20% off:thumbsup2 )

Anyone can use that offer, not just folk who live in France. That offer is for the Francillien Annual Pass, which usually costs 79 or 89 euros (can't remember which), but that Annual Pass doesn't allow you entry into the parks again until 4 days after you buy it (ie you can use it on the day you buy it, but can't use it the day after that, or the day after that). It also has 60 blackout days per year, when it can't be used as a park entrance ticket at all.

There is also the Fantasy Annual Pass, which costs 129 euro, can be used straightaway and consecutively, and has 30 blackout days. And the most expensive, Dream Annual Pass (shortly to go up to 189 euro) which has no blackout days at all.
