Renew or buy new AP?

I am one of the fortunate few who has, and likes, my Florida resident Pixie Dust Pass. It will expire on October 31. My husband‘s pass expires February 1. If I don’t intend to go to the park until in early January can I buy a new pass and wait to activate it? Or do I have to renew. I would Ike to get our use years back in sync. I figure a renewal at 15% off is about two months so it’s a matter of choosing if I’m more likely to attend in Nov/Dec of this year or next.

Since they are still selling new FL Pixie Dust APs, it sounds to me as if it would be more cost effective to buy a new one (a voucher for a new one) and hold it until you actually have use for it. But with the rumors that a new AP program might be announced soon, you'll need to decide whether to buy that new one now or wait to find out what the situation is when you hit your 60 days before Oct. 31 and (hopefully) have the option to renew.
