Renew AP question

I think the answer is "no" but thought I would ask anyways... I would like to renew my AP and maybe apply a ticket I have (unused, either a 5 day PH or a 2 day ticket from a runDisney package). I do not live in Orlando though. Is there anyway to do this over the phone? If so, would/could I get the renewal discount and apply a ticket and pay the remainder? If not I'll just wait for our next trip and purchase a new AP then.

I'm 99% sure over the phone is a no but you can renew over the phone so it's an interesting question.

you would also get the discount on upgrading it to an AP on a future trip so it sounds like you might get better value just upgrading one of them on the next trip instead.
