Renee! Don't give up - you are doing so great! Send DH out for sunflower seeds and treat yourself to a new shirt so you feel pretty. It could be a treat to reward yourself for all your non-smoking. Once you have stopped smoking for a while it will get easier and those pounds will just fly off again. You can do it - I'll be rooting for you!

Hey all! today was another weird one. I did good food wose and exercise but I slipped up on the smokes.
Actually, last night I did, I smoked a cigarette and then evening, smoked another. Been a hard day. Food wise, I had some italian sausages for lunch and for dinner, a burger with cheese and a salad. I ate 2 pieces of hard candy and a few pieces of gum, my water, and some coffee. I feel really bad for smoking, got to put it behind me and forget.
Anyway, I got on my TM and jogged 4.70 miles in one hour. I worked up a sweat, it was ncie to have jogged that far. anyway, I am tired, till tomorrow.

Yesterday was great! I started out with a egg ham and cheese on a LC wrap for BK........
At work, I had CX pizziola and when I got home I had a snack, chedar cheese and salami.
after that, I had a sugar free jello! Drank all my water and some decaf...... had af ew sunflower seeds and about 3 sugar free hard candies.

I got on the TM but was on the phone so I ended up just walking a half hour and did about 1.75 miles. Not what I wanted to do but at least it was something.



Its about 11:30 am here now, I plan on putting baby down for nap, eating BK then running for an hour.

This evening, I do not work I have defrosted steaks So, ill have that and a salad.

Ill report tonight.
Smoking thing is going great too! none since I slipped up!

Second post of the day, good day except for the exercise, I put baby down ate then as soon as I got on the TM he woke up! And trust me,. there is no running while he is up! SO I never did get that done.
food wise I did great!
this morning, I had two eggs scrambled with sausage and chees on a LC tortilla.

no snack then and for dinner, I had some sausage pizziola ( sauce leftover form the night before) and a salad. I also toasted half a tortilla with garlic and ate that with my dinner. Its baout 10 now, everyone has just settled down, I plan to sit ont he coach and have a snack (perhaps some cheese and pepperoni and maybe a jello)

I did buy some more sugar free candies, so I had about 4 of them as well as some sunflower seeds ( not too many and I bought some that didnt have too much salt) tomorrow, I am suppose to be going out with hubby, so that will be a challenge.

ANyway, till tomorrow.

Pizziola is a type of sauce ( like fra diavolo ) but has lots of olives, capers, etc..... it is very chunky! Funny thing is, I hate green olives and capers except in this sauce. Believe it or not Pizziola is usually served with salmon. SOunds strange I know but it is so good, we just ran out of salmon the other night and used cx.

HI all. Just got back from my Vday date with my hubby! gotta beat the crowds lol. I did alright! could have been worse.
Ill start off with my whoel day though,
This morning hit the road with errands didnt eat till noon. stopped at Bk had a whopper no bread or ketchup but, had a few Orings.
GOt home and baby would not go to sleep, sooooooo rather than use that as an excuse to not work out ( you know TM running and 2 year old running around equals danger! ) I set him up in the living room where I could see him and hit the TM....... I knew I had to be fast so this inspired me to run real fast for as long as I could or as long as he'd let me! lol. I walked for one minute then ran ( fast 5.5 mph) till I hit two miles! YES! thats right I ran the whole two miles! non stop! a first for me. It took me 23 minutes then I walked last 7 minutes! about 6 oclock, we sat to eat, I didnt cook so we ended up having cold cuts. I splurged and had it on LC bread and not a wrap. I ate a ham and cheese sandwich ( no chips! ) BY now, I had drank all my water had some coffe and of course a few of those sugar free candies.
This eveing we left about 9:30 and headed to houlihans. This is where I began the bargaining and cheating! but I never go out! rrrrgh! So I had mushrooms ( they are breaded) one potatoe skin ( these actually didnt have much of the potatoe and more skin) and some wings. For dinner, I had a piece of my hubby steak and ordered a side of the faux mashed potatoes. We also shared a salad.
no dessert, it was movie time. Here once agian, I splurged. I ate some rasinettes. but I swear, that was all! Anywa, it s late now, have to hit the hay! till tomorrow when I plan to be all the way back OP.

hmmmmmmmm.w ell today was alright, I had no BK until about 3 oclock, I just wasnt hungry. I had a wrap with egg ham and cheese, Got on the TM and ran 2 miles straight took me 21:30 minutes. then walked till I hit 30. Went to work where it was really busy, that was lots of exercising. See working in a restaurant is hard while stayng OP. Its hard physical work and then theres always food that is sent back or the wrong food made, etc. When that happens, my boss puts it out for all to eat.soooooooooo
the fried calamarie was made by accident and of course we ate it. good thing is there is about 5 of us and you have to be in the kitchen when the mistake happens or you get none! LOL, I was int he kitchen so I cheated there. After work the only thing left to eat was left over buffet from a party in the bar, only left was pasta so I passed. I did however hit checkers, I was starving! SO I ate cheese burger no bread and half a small fries. I am now eating sunflower seeds and plan on a small cup of lc ice cream, I have been planning all week.!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh today was a SO/SO day, I kow atl east one thing, I am learning that when I mess up not to go nuts and ruin it completely!I began with breakfast, one egg one slice of LC toast and bacon, I also had to have french toast but I had one piece, and it was on LC bread with sugar free syrup.
On my way to work, I bought a LC bagel t the bagel store,
Ate half of that when I got to work about 2 oclock.
We ate a salad and a few pieces of calamarie at work about 5 and the other half of my bagel. This evening, I had mussels in red sauce with spinach and a small piece of bread. I got home and had to run out to buy my sons chips for his class party tomorrow, I couldnt resist, and I bought a small bag of raisnettes.
I was not able to exercise I worked all day, but My place was real busy today, so I pretty much exercised at work.

Besides that not such a bad day!
I am very tired and have to work tomorrow, I am off to bed.

HI all, didnt get a chance to post yesterday,I was soooooooo busy.
Anyway started out good thats for sure,I had no time for exercise, literally a busy day. I ate my first meal at about 4 oclock on my way to work, stopped at BK had a double whopper no bread or ketchup and a few Orings. WORK was BUSY! so after work about 10:30 I had a cx ceasar salad with mushrooms.
Then I get home and hubby has cards flowers and of course chocolate! After seeing all those couples at work and serving all thsoe desserts, plus we gave out chocolate covered strwberries, I gave in and had about 8 mini peanut butter cups! ouch!
I then went to bed.
Today I am off, I plan to exercise, I am going out this evening to eat in another restaurant that is owned by the owners of mine. SO tonight, will be a challenge.

It sounds like your job keeps you on your feet and moving - so I would not worry about the chocolate - you probably burned a lot calories at work. Slip ups happen - we just have to learn from them and move on. Have a great day today and try to enjoy dinner tonight!

I ended up just eating whatever, however, didnt go overboard.
I actually didnt eat all day this was not done intentionally just ended up that way. Anyway, I had one piece of fish ( yes breaded) and took only a few fries fromt he plate and passed it on. and had a quesadilla (yes white floured!) yikes! loaded with carbs but portion control! if I need to rationalize! Now this place is primarily and ice cream shop OH NO! :earseek: Not to worry this is where I didnt go overboard, normally, I would say to myself ahhhhhhh I screwed up already so may as well. nope, I did not do that, I did have some ice cream but about 4 spoonfuls of baby's.
SO.......tomorrow, I am back on plan as usual! with the exercise! till then

HI all, been a few days! A few long crazy days! I may as well cut to the chase with my confession........ I am smoking again! I know I feel like such a failure and I wont make excuses but I really had a minor breakdown about 10 days ago! I did fine for about 20 days then I just lost it! One night, as I was trying on my work clothes which I hadnt wore in a month (restaurant was closed from jan. 1 till feb 3)Soooooooo, the clothes I wore on new years eve did not fit! I mean really not even close. Shirt and pants. This totally freaked me out! I convince myself that it was because I quit smoking and I had ONE! Next day turned into 2! and so on and so on! However, i did just buy a 3 week patch system I plan on started soon.
I just dont think I can tackle two things at once, and I can't, I can't I just can''t gain anymore weight! I am smart enough to know whats more important really, but, losing weight is not easy either so I think I am just gonna tackle the weight loss first. I really do feel horrible, I know so many of you were rooting for me. Ok so my past few days.
Craziness, began on wednesday night, my daughter ( bean 6 ) woke up about 4in the am screaming like crazy that her stomach hurt. I rushed her to the ER.At first, they thought Urinary infection but urine was fine so because she had a touch of asthma ( which I had under control) and her white blood cells were high fever, etc, they took a chest xray and determined she had nomonia. So they admitted her. I knew though somthing was not right. She was not sick not like that anyway. I know my daughter better than anyone, And I have been dealing with her asthma for a long time, no way she had this. I called her pediatricain and insisted he come that evening to see her and look at the xray! He confirmed, I was right! and we left late thursday night. During all this, i ate pretty bad, I hit the vending machine a few times both for her sake and mine. Howver, when the cafeteria opened in the am I did good and made good choices. I had tuna on a whole wheat wrap. and later that evening a ham and cheese on a spinach wrap. but then had mickey dees on the way home.
Today is sunday, I have been so good since friday, no cheating at all! This evening however, I will have ahouse ful and I am making lazagna! so I will probably go with that but I will not have nayway sweets after ward. In other words, just becuase the lazagna is not in myplan, I will not just say ah the hell with it lets do it up good!
Anywa, I have to go, I have to go shovel and hit the supermarket!

WOW havent been on in two days.
Dont have much time but here goes,
Yesterday< did great had egg bacon an cheese quesadilla.
for dinner had cx pizziolo with a LC wrap toasted with garlic.

Hey all day 2 of starting over again and I feel good.
I ended up falling asleep early last night which is why I did not post.
I am also feeling a little under the weather. so yesterday I hit the Tm and did 2 miles straight @ 5 mph which took me 24 minutes then I walked the rest (8 minutes) Then I did about 40 crunches, I really do need to get more crunches in perhaps Ill do them before bed. I did not eat good yesterday, I mean not enough (for a change). I didnt eat till dinner time about 5 oclock, I had one hotdog on a hlaf LC wrap I did nto enjoy it at all so I used the other half of my wrap and had ham and cheese with mayo. I snacked on 2 slices of american cheese and one 1/4 of a LC chocolate bar. I drank lots of coffee (decaff) and drank 100 oz of water.
ANyway, its only 12 40 now, so Ill post tonight.

HI all, it is now 8 20! wohooo I did good agian no cheating!
Bk had a LC atkins shake
Lunch more like a snack, some cheese and salami.
for dinner, I had a salad and tuna on a LC wrap.
This morning, I did 2 miles on the TM in 22 minutes then walked the last 8 and did 40 crunches. I am off to bed now but not before I do 40 more crunches.
