So I think I get the basic premise of these two different activities in Epcot but I'm thinking we'll just be able to do one and that both might be a bit of overkill? Anyone have any experiences they could share or thoughts on one over the other / both?

Once you understand the theory of Remy, you don't need to buy the map to do it. Just look for Remy in each country. You can ask a castmember to help you in the first country so you get an idea of what you're looking for.

Would you do Remy or Agent P?

Honestly, you could probably do both. Finding Remy isn't really time-consuming. And Agent P, you can do a single mission, or you can do multiple missions - it's up to you how long you'd like to play. They're two different experiences. Remy is more of a hide & seek activity, Agent P is much more interactive.

We love Agent P! As mentioned above, it's interactive, and you can choose to complete just a single mission, or spend hours on multiple missions. It's a fun way for kids to get interesting glimpses into the World Showcase, and learn some cool stuff among the way.

I've never done Agent P, so I can't help with a comparison. My friend bought the Remy map and I helped her partway around the world. I like that you can do it casually - just look around when you get to each country. You don't even need to buy the map.
