I have a super cute dress for myself. I figured husband and I would wear the same thing to afternoon Remy brunch as Palo dinner that same evening. I am wondering though ... husband's shirt is a nice blue button down with palm trees print, but it does have a Mickey Mouse near the pocket. Will that work?

You can only try - the dress looks plenty dressy, that shirt looks fabulously Mickey, but in my experience a denim shirt may be ok palo brunch (maybe) but not for Remy? It does seem casual? You will love your meals! They are fancy places, if you have dress clothes with a Mickey theme that's fine, I've seen dresses out there that have Mickey patterns etc

I actually didn't think denim was allowed in either Remy or Palo at all.

I personally wouldn't wear either - but I tend to limit anything character to t-shirts only and would never consider wearing a character on anything dressy, so I am probably weird.

I think those outfits are cute but I would not wear them to Palo or Remy. Both places in my opinion require something a little dressier.

We have Remy brunch and Palo dinner on the same day. And, Remy dinner on a different night.

I didn't record the voice mail from the hostesses, but I'm pretty sure when I got my "reminder" call about both Palo dinner and brunch she said "denim" in the "Please no..." spiel. It wasn't limited to jeans.

Wow...I hope that brunch is early and dinner is late. I cannot imagine THAT much food in one day. I won't even do Palo brunch the day after Palo dinner.

Maybe I'll just ditch the denim jacket abd wear the pink dress. There is nothing character on the dress alone. Husband can wear something less Disney cruise casual :).

I figured it was a lot to squeeze into one day. 4 night cruise though. Gotta make it work.

Remy and Palo may not permit guests to wear blue denim. I remember a story about someone denied entry for wearing a denim dress.

IMHO, I wouldn't do both on the same day. That's way too much food. Plus, I wouldn't wear denim in those restaurants.

11:30 Remy brunch followed by a 7:00 Palo dinner? Whoa! I would definitely still be too full from brunch to go to dinner that early, esp. with it being brunch & dinner @ Remy & Palo. We even try to avoid doing dinner at one of them one night followed by brunch the next day. If you absolutely must do them both on the same day, try to get into brunch earlier and push your dinner back as late as possible. Just my suggestion.

As for the denim, no, I would not wear that. Nor would I wear any character clothing to Remy or Palo. Even if the items are dressier, having the characters on them somehow (in my mind) negates some of the dressiness, if that makes sense.

HTHs! :)
