Removing Someone From Reservation

Hi all,

I just saw a thread on here that reminded me that I needed to ask this.

We have reservations for Crystal Palace for 3, but our friend cannot make it, so only 2 of us will be attending. Is it better to change the reservation to 2 in advance, or should just tell them when we check in the day of? We are about a week out if that makes any difference.

I wouldn't bother trying to change it in advance.

You might try to see if there is one for 2 available. Normally I would say leave it alone but 3 people would be seated at a 4 top, 2 people would most likely have a 2 top. Freeing up a 4 top for a party of 3 or 4 would be nice but if you really want to eat there, you might not want to risk losing the ADR.

I wouldn’t worry about it. It has happened to us and we still get seated at a two top. I think they adjust on the fly so they leave room in case other people show up with one extra.

If it will let you modify the ADR easily, go ahead. If not, don't worry about it and just let them know when you check in.
