We have a vacation planned for spring 2017 and we have recently found out that a person we have on our room reservation and have listed in MDE is no longer going on the vacation. We have a DVC reservation which means I will need to contact the person I rented from in order to get them removed from the room reservation, if I am remembering correctly. I assume also need to remove them from MDE? Do I need to wait until after the DVC owner has amended the room reservation to do this or do I need to remove them from MDE first, or does it not matter which one is done first? Also, I have already made our dining reservations for 6. Can I just leave them at that and only show up with 5? Will it mess up the dining reservations if I remove the person from MDE? If it will, do I just leave them on there (MDE) even though they aren't coming? Thanks for any info.

Yes wait to remove them until after the DVC owner updates the reservation. Its been my experience that once that is done, MDE automatically recognizes the change and it updated on its owe.

I agree. I would leave the reservation as is. Your ADR's are fine. You can not just drop one, you would have to cancel and rebook for 5, if available v

We stayed DVC with rented points earlier this year. I had booked with 3 people on DVC reservation, then one didn't come. I never had him removed from the reservation. Didn't seem to matter.
